When buying fuel, be sure to use your credit card or cash instead of your debit card!

Skimmers are becoming more prevalent in our area and by using your debit card they can steal your personal information, such as your PIN number and your bank account number. Check for signs of tampering with the card reader. You can even pull on it - if it comes off, it is fraudulent. You can even check on your phone for nearby Bluetooth devices that may be coming from the skimmer. This is happening at ATMs as well.
